Activities:

- riding : Riding possibility from july to august in 150 m distance (Ranch of the Iles) with trips for beginners and progressing, routes lasting several hours to the Brière (national parc), bathing with horses, go for a ride at night, riding on ponys etc.. Outside of the season there are riding stables between Asserac and Guerande ca.10 km
- sails : a small sail port is situated approx. in 1 km distance - the "club nautique" offers sail courses already with its fleet of optimists, catamarans, cayaks... for children starting from 4 years. Of course also adults can occupy various courses.
- for windsurfers is situated in 1km a bay with flat water.
- a large yachting port with yacht charter is situated in the delta of the Vilaine at the village Arzal in approx.10 km distance
- golf: a very beautiful golf course is in "La Baule" approx.. 20 km, another "professional golf club" in Missillac (approx. 20km)
- tennis: - on request at the camping (300 m).
- fishing rods : fishing rod possibility by boat in the sea, north of Pénestin in the "Vilaine"

- Guerande , pictorial small town on the peninsula of the same name, 15 km south of Pénestin, 7 km east of the fishing port La Turballe. The old still received town centre, from the 15.Jhdt. and its impressing attachment wall with 10 towers and 4 gates refer to the moved past. Surrounded by saltworks.
- La Baule (approx. 20 km) large bathing resort with Casino, Bars, discotheques, fashion shops with international public.
- Parc régional de la Brière (direct bordering) this 40,000 hectar large protected area, is after the Camargue largest swampland shank. It indicates a multiplicity at animal species, which fascinates the nature lover. The Brière with many small lakes and channels pulled through, best by boat is explored. Led boat travels, are offered everywhere, museum village at Kerhinet.
- St. Nazaire (35 km) industrial city with submarine shelter from that 2. World war, which offers a Multimediashow and exhibitions over the history of the cruise ships. A submarine is to be visited in the opposite. Shipyard where the Queen Mary 2 was build can be visited.
